Help with ISTs?

I'm a newbie to carding but trying to learn the ropes. I have all the software I need at the moment and plan on buying the omnikey, magstrip reader/writer and java blanks but just had a question about ISTs. Is it possible to generate an IST without the original card? Is there a service where I can buy dumps with ISTs? Any answers would be useful as I'm not sure how to proceed. Thanks in advance,
