37-year-old resident of the village of Brodnitsa in search of easy earnings went to the violation of the Law.
The pre-trial investigation found that during May-June of this year, he created ads for the sale of various goods in one of the social networks. On the Internet, I found photos and characteristics of a bicycle, car wheels, power tools, and a refrigerator - I published them and started my "business".
Those wishing to purchase the product promised to send it on condition of prepayment in the amount of 500 hryvnia. However, as soon as the money was credited to the account, the scammer blocked buyers.
Thus, he managed to deceive five residents of the Varasky district for a total amount of 2500 hryvnias.
Investigators of OP No. 2 (Zarechnoye village) The Varas ROP completed the pre-trial investigation on fraud under Part 1, 2 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sent the criminal proceedings to the court for consideration due to the procedural leadership of the Prosecutor's Office.
Now the attacker can face up to 3 years in prison.
