The woman who called the helpline number called herself a fraudster and said that she deceived a resident of the city of Angarsk, who gave them to the courier 440 thousand rubles. After that, the caller named the shopping center where their accomplice is located, his passport data and described his appearance, as well as the name of their victim. At the same time, the woman did not give information about herself and her address, but added the phrase "we framed him"about the accomplice.
At about the same time, in the city of Angarsk, a pensioner who was tricked into stealing money turned to the police – the fraudster introduced herself as a nurse and said that a relative of the Angarsk woman provoked an accident, and in order to avoid any problems, you need to transfer the money to the "investigator".
After checking the information from the fraudster who called, the police really detained the courier. It turned out that he had already transferred money to his supervisors. Now investigators are working with him. A criminal case has been opened.
