As employees of the police department No. 4 in Zalishchiki established, a foreigner who introduced himself as a military man from Syria wrote to the victim. They started communicating, after which the man told the woman that he intended to come to her and said that he would send her a parcel with his things.
After some time, the woman received a call and was informed that she had received a parcel and needed to pay for it. The woman transferred 56 thousand hryvnias to the account of strangers. However, I did not receive anything and the "friend" from Syria did not get in touch anymore.
On this fact, the police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (fraud). Measures to solve the crime are continuing.
